All homeowners are hereby notified that the Reconvened Annual Meeting of Oakhurst at Witch Hazel Village Homeowners’ Association, Inc. is called as follows:

DATE: Thursday, July 18th, 2019

TIME: Sign-In at 6:00 PM; Call to Order at 6:15 PM

PLACE: Community Park on Twelve Oaks Street

PURPOSE: To transact association business, which may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof

Washington County Code Enforcement

The Washington County Code Enforcement website allows lot owners to access the appropriate resources and to assist in the problem-solving process of code enforcement. The site includes links to county webpages with more information and online complaint forms.

Neighborhood Street Program

From the website for the Neighborhood Street Program:

“The goals of the Neighborhood Streets Program are to preserve and improve neighborhood livability by:

  • Discouraging undesirable driver behavior,
  • Encouraging safe pedestrian and bicycle use,
  • Improving the safety of pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers,
  • Involving area residents in solving traffic problems, and
  • Making efficient use of your tax dollars by prioritizing requests for improvements.”

The Board can solicit volunteers to help with the program if the community feels the program is helpful.

Summer Safety Tips

With kids out of school soon, it’s a good time to remember these simple safety tips to make sure everyone in the community has a safe, fun summer.

  • Summer Safety Tips for Neighborhood Kids
  • Don’t park cars on sidewalks where they will prevent ease of access for kids and adults to walk on.
  • Don’t place a basketball system on sidewalks where it will prevent ease of access for kids and adults to walk on.
